Ik studeerde ook in Madrid en startte daar een eigen fabriek op waar we paar- denvoeding produceerden. Omdat ik al vele jaren zowel met humane voeding als met meerdere dierlijke voedingsmid- delen bezig ben, heb ik nu een heel brede kijk op de ontwik- keling van die producten. Het gebruik van die cranberry- olie is daar een mooi voorbeeld van.U werkte lange tijd alleen?Uiteraard werk ik steeds samen met partners, maar sinds één jaar heb ik - vanuit de idee dat we meer mensen nodig hebben om mijn kennis te verspreiden omdat ik niet overal kan zijn – HorSeMolen opgericht. Many food compositions for horses contain linseed oil, but we now replace it by cran- berry oil. It discharges liquid in such a way that the horse’s kidneys function much better.How have you been able to build up all this knowledge?As a nutritionist I have acquired a lot of experience in develop- ment of animal food over the years. I studied in Madrid and started an own factory over there in which we produced horse food. Having been involved both in human and animal food,I may say I have quite a broad view on the development of those products. The use of the aforementioned cranberry oil illustrates this nicely.Have you been working on your own all the time?Of course I have always worked together with partners. Since one year I have established HorSeMolen. Its base looks solid. We need more people now to spread my ideas as I cannot be omnipresent. We are growing very rapidly. Nine people are already active at our headquarters in Tilburg in The Nether- lands. We are also active in Belgium, where Kees de Hoon acts on our behalf with much passion. We are also starting business in Denmark, Norway, Germany and Italy and are continuously looking into markets worldwide. We will employ a veterinary75
